Here are some Frequently Asked Questions that we've had so far! Hope this helps :)

Are you a self-service laundromat? 

No, due to City Zoning & lack of a full parking lot, we are NOT a Self-Service Laundromat. Fortunately, we do offer wash & fold service. Our shop is meant to be a quick drop off shop for your laundry needs. Drop off on your way to work & pick up on your way home!

Why should I use your services?

For Convenience! We understand everyone has busy schedules or just want to enjoy the weekend after a long week at work. Our shop is meant to be a quick drop off shop for your laundry needs. Since we are NOT a public laundromat, our main bread & butter is our wash & fold service. We know your time is valuable & we are affordable.

Do you offer "Order Ready" Notifications?

YES! As of 11/6, we happily offer "Order Ready for Pickup" notifications. However, you must Opt-in at drop off with an E-MAIL ADDRESS or CELL PHONE # WITH CELL COMPANY/CARRIER. 

Notification will arrive from noreply.202clothesline@gmail.com - make sure to add us to your Contacts so it does not end up in Junk/Spam.

I'm allergic/sensitive to detergent or softner. What should I do?

Please advise of any allergies/sensitivities to detergent or softeners during drop off. We will make sure to use unscented, hypo-allergenic free & clear detergent. We are not responsible for any do-overs if not advised in advance. 

I have my own preference on soap. Can I bring in my own soap to the shop?

Yes! Same pricing, but if you prefer a certain detergent, booster, softener, or dryer sheets, feel free to bring it in. We'll add your name to each item & keep it here for each wash. We will notify you when its almost out. 

Do you offer same-day service?

Yes! We offer same day wash & fold service  if your clothing is dropped off before 12PM. If it's after 12PM, we do not guarantee it'll be completed by the end of the day. Most likely the following day. Depends on our current orders. Dry cleaning on the other hand, is a 3-4 day turn around. Make sure to stop by in advance if you will need your items by a certain day. 

Do you offer dry cleaning service?

Yes! We have partnered with a local & eco-friendly cleaners to provide the best service to our clients. They are vetted and offer the highest quality with the safest organic solvents to be environmentally friendly. So please do bring your dress shirts, suits, gowns, dresses, pants, delicate sweaters, etc. for dry cleaning to our shop!

Do you offer Tailoring & Alterations?

Yes! For any requests, please visit us Mon-Fri from 7AM-2PM with your item(s) for a quote as each item is unique. 

Do you offer Ugg/Suede/Leather/Fur Cleaning ?

No. Unfortunately, we do not offer these services. 

Do you offer pick up & delivery?

Yes! We offer pick up & delivery for dry cleaning and wash & fold on certain days in nearby towns with a fee. See details on 'Services' page. Give us a call 914-293-0018 to see which days we service your area. 

Are you ADA accessible?

Yes! Our storefront location offers 1 parking space reserved for people with disabilities with an access aisle and platform ramp to our shop.

Do you have nearby parking?

Yes! There are 5 parking spaces plus 1 reserved handicap parking space in front of our shop located at 1770 Crompond Rd, Peekskill New York. 

What languages do you speak?

Our staff is bi-lingual in English & Spanish. 

Where are you located?

We are conveniently located along Route 202 - GPS address is 1770 Crompond Road, Peekskill NY 10566. We are in the former American Cycle building between Villa at the Woods Main Entrance and The Common/Stone Gate Co-ops.
